I was in BRU today with Charlie. I picked up their 'new parent' magazine (which is done by BRU) just to see what they had to say.
It talked about car seats in one section.
First mistake- saying that some convertibles go all the way to 30 pounds RF (no, ALL of them go to AT LEAST 30 pounds RF, some go to 33 or 35).
Then the second mistake directly following, and I quote "A forward facing seat is required for children over age one and over 20 lbs. At one year of age, a convertible seat should be turned forward facing."
Why do they continue to spew this stuff? They make it sound like it is the LAW to have a one year old FF.
On an up note at BRU- I talked a lady out of a comfort sport and told her to go to Target and get a scenera. She knew just the seat I was talking about, and was happy to have the advice.
