My second daughter just outgrew our snugride and it "expires" in June.

My inclination is to cut the straps and throw it & the base away. Any reason to do anything else with it?

I suppose I'll also pull the cover off it in case my sister ends up with a snugride (kids are a couple of years down the road) she'll have a spare.

A CPST might be able to use it as a demonstration seat. Otherwise, I would toss it...

Good idea to keep the cover (and matching hood)... make sure to absolutely disguise the seat... people will use even a bare bones shell if they find it at the dump or on the street... I've seen seats with cut harnesses on ebay! So use a black plastic garbage bag also full of diapers or something :P (or let your dh rip into it with a circular saw if he wants). OR keep it as a doll seat in the house...kids love 'real' baby things!

Heh. My older daughter would love to keep it around but we are already up to HERE (envision me holding my hand waaaaay above my head) with baby stuff so everything that can go, is!
