DS2 is in a RF Fisher Price Safe Embrace in DH's car and I noticed that the straps were in the wrong slots a few weeks ago. He seemed ready for the next strap height and I adjusted accordingly. Yesterday, I buckled him in again and noticed after we had arrived at our destination that he was below the slots that I was using. It seems that he slumps down in the seat a bit when we are driving and although the straps are tight on him he scootches down towards the crotch strap. Should I move the straps back to the lower position if he slouches or should I keep them at their current spot, since that is where they should be if he is sitting up properly?

Thanks,
Marian

Aren't the FP straps supposed to be above the shoulders when RF anyway? (it's the opposite from most seats, right?)

See what your manual says, if no one else with an FPSE chimes in :)

Duh! I always forget that Fisher Price is the opposite. I just re-read the manual and you are right. He is now using the right harness slots.

Thanks again,
