OK I'm not sure about manufacture date on these - but a GREAT deal on a Britax Wizard! :)

wow it's really tempting to buy that for our possible #2. We have a wizard for DD now and we love it...

Holy wow!! That's less than half the price new. I know it is at least a year old, but still! Considering that most kids won't get a full six years out of it anyway...
Dang. I wish I needed another seat. I wish my friend hadn't already bought her Apex. Oh man oh man now THAT is a steal!!

Thinking thinking... I MUST know someone who needs a new seat.

I emailed amazon but they said they couldnt check the individual product specs (???) trying to decidee if I should get one too.

If I recall correctly, the main down side to this seat was that kids couldnt see wel w/the wings right?

how much of an issue was it?

No issue for my ds who moved to the WZ when he was about 26 months old after a RA. He is now almost 5 yrs old and still in it. He has no problem with the wings at all.

That is a great price.

MY oldest DD had a problem with our Wizard's wings - but she's growing to be extemely clausterphobic as she ages .. so I think that has a lot to do with it.

We use our Wizard for my DS who is almost 2 and he LOVES it! He can easily see out the sides of the wings IMO.

Its an awesome seat IMO!

DD's been in it since she was 5 months old and we have had no problems. She leans up sometimes to see better but she's still RF (and will remain that way until I have to move her). We like it alot, but I wish it had multiple covers like the RA or Marathon so we could get a pretty, girly one!

I don't which pattern you have but there is an adorable new foofy head pad for the WZ on ebay, to go w/ a denim cover
