Graco Infant Carseats

I *think* that dh and I have decided on the Graco Safeseat for our first baby, due in a few weeks.

Some of the carseats have Gracopedic foam, a boot, etc for about $60 more than the standard Safeseat.

Is it worth the money for the extra features?

Also, is the Graco Snugrider stroller the best snap-n-go to go with the carseat or is there a better one that is also compatible with the safeseat?

I was looking at getting the fusion print safeseat from BRU for $149. It has the boot but not the Gracopedic foam. I was worried about it because I had read that the metalic fabrics get hot.

After shopping around I had decided on the G Collection Safeseat. I think it is the nicest one the offer. It was $169-200 in most places but it is really nice and has the full infant support as opposed to the head support. The fabric is also neutral and I don't think the tan color will be as hot. The boot also has an integrated blanket for extra warmth as opposed to just being the regular boot.

I found it on sale at Baby Age for $129 which is less than the fusion print and the same as the basic models. With shipping it came to $135 and change. I had a hard time trying to buy it online so I just called and ordered it. It should be here tomorrow(5 day shipping).

I think this is about as good a deal as there is out there and the seat is NICE!!! Here is a link to it:

ETA: I was at USA baby and the Graco people were there so I was asking them about the safeseat working with a Snap N Go. They of course said there has been claims that the SNG either broke the seat or the seat damaged the SNG. They showed me their SNG version and it was nice. I really liked that it had the extra locks on it. I guess I would probably go with the one that you know fits their seats perfect although I think a lot of the damage claims were just hype on their part to sell their product.
