Ok to cut a long story short: ds vomited yesterday all over seat, seat covers in wash, he found the seat, got the EPS foam and snapped one of the wing sides off.

I cant get a hold of Britax to see if they can send another EPS insert. I dont even know if they will as I have a BV in Canada....

Anyway, can I use the seat until it hopefully arrives.I figure if we put the foam back in the cover it should sit ok? what do you think?

Thanks.

This happened in my MA - somehow DH did it when putting DS in the seat...

Britax said as long as there aren't any "chunks" missing, its fine to use it, or even duct tape it if you want.

Not sure about shipping????

Thank you for replying. I will tape it together until I can call Britax on Monday.

Movers broke our foam on our Baby Trend infant seat. I called BT and they said I could glue it back together. We used glue made for foam and it worked fine.

I recall reading the same thing re: the discontinuted Fisher Price seats. Tape it together. Obviously, its not ideal, but it seems several different companies have towed the same line. :)

ooh glue is a good idea as it is a clean break.

Thanks everyone!
