Exp 2012, and it would be an extra seat (we currently have 2 Britax one for each kid.

Would you take it, or is it so hard to install that I really shouldn't bother?

Be advised it takes me a half hour to get the Britax seats into the car because I am so picky about installation.

Opinions please, :).

I would take it. It would be good to use for Jarred because it can be RF to 35 lbs. It has low harness slots but depending on how big your kids are you could get a few years out of the seat. Do you need another seat for one of the kids for another car?

Would you be able to try to install the seat in your car and if it is to hard then give it back to the person? Maybe make an appt with a CPS tech to have them help you install the seat the first time?

It usually takes me less than 10 minutes to install a MA/DC in my car. The seat is in so tight that the seatbelt has a inprint as well as the seat and the entire car (a minivan) shakes when i try to move the seat.

I agree... and without the base, it is the same install as the Scenera... it's a great convertible seat... just a crappy booster and overpriced because they try to say it is more than it is.

If its free get it!

Its not a horrible seat - it just in no way compares to a Britax! ;)
It does RF to 35 lbs though which is very nice and its not a half bad for FF until your kid outgrows it in height (my 3 and 2 y/o are both too tall for it already) and I'd never use it as a booster seat.

I found the base on it to be the worst part so I removed the base and that made it LIFETIMES easier to install!

Same here! That base had to go! Otherwise, it really lasted me a long time since my granddaughter has a short torso. (Oh,BTW, the cover was a bear to get off...)

I'd get it -- having an extra seat is handy sometimes!
