Hi,

My son is about to turn 2 and is still RF, he just got weighed and without all his clothes on, shoes etc, he is 32.5 lbs, should I turn him around as with clothes and shoes he would probably be 33lbs, I have a Wizard so that is the limit.

thanks
Debbie

I believe the put clothes on the dummys when they test them, so 33 lbs plus clothes. However, if he is that close, he could gain a half pound with just one good meal. :-) I would probably turn him around, but it is a judgement call at that point.

I was just going to come post almost this exact question, except we have a MA. I've been obsessively weighing him since he turned 30 lbs, and he's now 31.5. I'm glad to know they don't do testing on nakie dummies!;)

We turned our DS1 when he was a pound or so short of the limit. He tended to grow in spurts - nothing for a while and then gain 2-3lbs, and we didn't want to risk him being RF and over the weight limit. He was also about 2yo when we turned him.

Yeah, same with Bitsy...she hovered at 31 for EVER...then bingo, one day she was 35...whoops, time to forward-face (of course the little bean was 4.5, lol).
