I know this is made by Britax and that it doesn't have quite all the frills of a regular britax...but how do the straps measure up. Are they just as easy to use as a Marathon? Do they tend to twist or do they stay just as tight and straight as a britax?

Thanks

DS has been using one for almost a month now and I like the seat. I actually find it slightly easier to deal with the straps because they don't have HUGS (also have a 55 pound harness limit, not 65 pounds). The adjuster is the same as the MA (although both sides of the buckle "click" instead of just the second side on the Britax). I haven't had any twisty problems yet.

If you move your seat around a lot, I'd probably go with the Marathon (I have a Marathon in DH's car since the seat goes in and out more) because it has the lock-offs and nicer LATCH hooks. It's also easier to recline the MA. If you don't switch seats between kids and cars too often, I think the FPSV is a good option (and definitely less expensive).

HTH!

Thank you! :)

We have a Britax in my car so this one would be for dh's car. It would stay there the whole time. Which pattern do you have?

Does anyone know if the Red FP Safe Voyage Seat is only a BRU exclusive?

I have this one:

I bought it at BRU.

DS seems to like it and I haven't had any problems with it yet.
