Is it OK to use general car seat covers (made to fit any toddler car seat) on Britax seats? OR should I stick with a Britax car seat cover...in which case, where can I find one?

You should stick with Britax covers for Britax seats. That way, the slots are sure to line up with the straps and the cover is sure to fit the way that it is supposed to. You can order covers directly from Britax. There are also many online retailers that sell covers. I think that you can order them from Babies R Us, Albee Baby, Baby Universe, and Amazon. You can sometimes find them on Ebay as well, just don't be tempted by those fancy custom covers, you are much safer sticking with actual Britax covers.

Try calling Britax directly 1-888-4BRITAX, unless their shopping page is back up at www.britaxusa.com (It's been down for months...:P).

But a www.froogle.com search should come up with all the places Melinda mentioned online where they sell them, too.
