Hi. My DS is 26.5 months old. He is 39 inches and 34 lbs. As he is growing at an exponential rate, I will need to be replacing his Evenflo Triumph shortly. Is he too young for a Britax Regent? I am interested in this rather than the Boulevard or Marathon because of the extended length. The doctor noticed at his checkup that he is more and more off the chart height-wise at each visit. I am concerned that I will have to replace the Marathon or Boulevard in a year or two and will have to buy the Regent then anyway. Can I just buy the Regent now or is there some sort of age minimum for it?

Thanks,

Jodi

Most kiddos that are as young as your son don't look comfortable in a Regent because it is so big. However, your son is a big guy. I would take him to Babies R Us and try him in one and see how he fits. There have been some younger kids that fit great in it.
