Hi,
I have 11 month old twins who are soon going to need to go into convertible seats. While I know that the Britax seats are highly recommended, since I need to buy two, I'm looking for a less expensive option. One thing I'm considering is the Fisher Price Safe Voyage carseat which I've seen online for $140.00. I'm just wondering is there any reason why I shouldn't just get the Cosco Scenera at $40 each? We have a Chevy Venture if it makes a difference.
Thanks for your help!

I would get the FP Safe Voyage Deluxe's if you can afford them. The Scenera is a great budget seat but only lasts until 40lbs and 3-4 years of age whereas the FP will get you to 55lbs and 5-6 years. Most kids wouldn't be ready for a booster when they outgrow the Scenera so the FP is worth the extra money IMO.

You can get the FP for $130 here http://www.albeebaby.com/fiprsavodeco1.html or I also saw this in Bargain Alerts yesterday http://www.windsorpeak.com/dc/dcboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=82&topic_id=45855&mesg_id=45855&page=
