I have a 12M, 22lb daughter rear facing in a BV. I was checking the seat today and noticed that the foam where the seat belt goes through is torn on one side. It is still intact. Should I glue/tape it back together? Does the foam do anything other than make the seat more comfortable? I looked on the Britax website and didn't find any other info. Please let me know any info or suggestions. Thanks.

Yeah, it's comfort foam (I'm assuming you mean the gray stuff that's one big sheet along the bottom, not those little styrofoam cubes under the bum, right?). It's replaceable, give them a call at 1-888-4BRITAX to get more, and yeah, I think you can use a bit of rubber cement or foam glue if it really seems to need it. If this happened because the seatbelt is over the foam, you can prevent it by putting the seatbelt under the foam next time :)
