DS seat leans - DH can't figure out how to make it sit flat (even with a noodle) and I can't beleive that it should be leaning - what are we doing wrong?

You're using a lap/shoulderbelt? It's the shoulderbelt getting tighter and tighter that makes it lean. You need to use a locking clip instead of pulling the shoulderbelt all the way out. That will keep it tight, and keep the shoulderbelt from tipping it.

Here's a page on locking clips http://www.carseatsite.com/lockingclips.htm
...and if it's just too much of a pain, go buy a Safeseat 1 or Chicco Key Fit, they have built in lockoffs :D (I'm bad about buying new seats, feel free to ignore me, lol)

I KNEW someone here would have the answer 9and actually, the whole locking clip thought occurred to me after I posted last night). I'll have DH stop at BRU and pick one up.

I would have a VERY hard time getting DH to agree to a new seat ... since we just bought a Marathon and 2 Radians for my oldest son.

You have locking clips... on the back of your Radian, or with your original packaging and stuff (should be on the back of the Snugride, there's a place to stick it) that came with the SR originally :)
