This is for my sister, not me. They're getting a new vehicle and are looking for a new seat for their almost 4.5 year old daughter. My sister wants a booster for her, I would prefer a harnessed booster, and she wants something more on the narrow side. I have no idea, really. I've been out of the car seat loop lately and I'm not sure which are recommended, so I can't suggest any for her to go look at to get an idea of size. I would appreciate any help with this. Thanks so much!

Small kids like that tend to fit best in the Graco Safeseat 3 (Turbo booster, same thing) and the Britax Parkway or Monarch (Parkway is very containing, and yet incredibly easy to buckle, I'd choose it first for a small kiddo, if it were ME ;) ) Britax Monarch is also very nice, but 'appears' to be not narrow, so she probably won't like it. Recaro Young Style and Jane' Indy Plus are also terrific. Lots of choices (skip the Evenflos, I just don't think they have good enough side impact protection).
