LATCH? You'll need to switch the LATCH connectors around on the bar so they will be upright...um...I wanna say page 21 in the manual explains it...basically you have to open the lockoffs and peel back the cover and slide them along the bar, one through the other. Then they'll be upright and ready to go. Drape the tether strap over the back of the seat, clip the latch anchor in the middle, then clip the one by the door, tighten them down (I SIT on it and pull the straps at the same time so the seat stays even).

Or ignore all that LATCHy fun and just run the belt through the belt path, buckle, knee in the seat, pull up on the shoulderbelt to get the lapbelt tight, put the shoulderbelt through the lockoff by the door, clamp it shut, get off seat, check for tightness, repeat as needed, clip top tether and tighten.

This is taking me five times as long to type as it'll take you to do, it's SO MUCH EASIER than an RF install :D

my lockoffs don't work...i never worried about it cause i always did the LATCH install....should i worry about it now?

also does the seat have to be in fully upright mode? it's not clear in the manual...it says upright for 33lbs andup...she isn't there yet, but she's close...

Yes, upright. Your lockoffs don't work? The shoulder ones? (I'm only slightly amazed because they 'never' break, lol). Both? Anyway, run the belt through them, pull the belt all the way out to lock it at the retractor, and call for a replacement (it's not technically necessary since your belts lock, but *I* like locking my lockoffs, anyway :)
