That story was all over the radio yesterday since it happened pretty close to here - so sad about the crash, but so happy the girl was safe!

Just goes to show that the controversy with people thinking taking a car seat on an airplane is no big deal.. It does keep them safe because you never know.

Not to mention the fact it keeps them contained and they can be comfortable and sleep!!!! Plus you never know what could happen accidents happen just like they do in cars!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for posting this - I'm going to stuff copies of it into my carseat tether pocket and hand it to any flight attendant who gives us grief or rolls her eyes at us installing her carseat on the plane.

ETA: Maybe Southwest should take heed and encourage parents to install carseats on board and GIVE US THE EXTRA TIME for install!! Grrrr....
