Chicco KeyFit vs. KeyFit 30?

I understand that KeyFit 30 has a higher weight/height limit... how much heavier and bigger is it than the Keyfit? I can't find on the Chicco website the weight of the carrier itself (without base) or the dimensions.... can someone please enlighten me?

Based on advise here and reading reviews online, we are leaning towards a Chicco over either the Snugride or Safeseat... just need to decide which one. DD#1 was only 20 pounds at a year, so I am not that concerned about DD#2 outgrowing the seat quickly.

Same size seat :) (different connectors in the base to make it go to a higher weight limit, I think...?)

If you can find a 22 to pick up and play with, the 30's the same (they also carry it at Babies R Us now, too).

i LOVE the keyfit and just wish i had a 30 since my twins are enormous.

I think it's the exact same, but the base is heavier imo.
