Car emergency kits?

What is in yours????

Mine has a Starbucks coupon. J/k! ;) I also have an umbrella, because I will rust long before I freeze in the weather here.

We don't have an emergency kit, per se, but we do carry a sleeping bag and chains when we travel through mountain passes (only a couple of times a winter). I always have food and water. I have no clue what else I should have.

I always have an umbrella in my car. I have a small first aid kit in the trunk as well as a few other things. These things are:

Water bottles
Food- crackers/granola bars, etc.
Sweatshirt
Diapers and Wipes for Avi
Rescue inhaler for me- I keep one in my purse but you never know what will happen.
In my glove box I have a form from the auto insurance co that is in case of an accident to fill out the other person's info. I also have a disposable camera in addition to my camera phone and the camera I keep in my purse.

I am sure there are other things I *should* have, so I am looking forward to this post!

I think you live in CA, right? We get more rain and somewhat cooler temps here, but like you are major disaster issue is earthquakes not snow.

Now that I think about it more, I have:

umbrella
cellphone & charger
food & water in diaper bag/purse
extra diaper bag in car -- wipes, diapers & pullups, extra clothes for each child
rescue inhaler for DD#1 and aerochamber
sunscreen
blanket
toys
paper & pen
ETA: first aid kit

Oh, and a variety of lipsticks & lipbalms for me, b/c I wanna look good, LOL :)

The camera is a great idea. DH has a cellphone camera, but I don't. Is the sweatshirt for you or Avi? I don't carry extra clothes for me. Maybe I should?

The sweatshirt is for me. The weather here changes very fast from sunny and warm to overcast and slightly chilly, so I like to be prepared. I should put a sweatshirt for Avi, but I always figure that he could use mine in a worse case scenario. I am going to pick one up in the next few days.
