Cracked base on Britax Roundabout

DD's RA has two horizontal cracks down by the front "feet". They go all the way through the plastic (by which I mean front to back) and the two edges are not right on top of each other. I did a search and it seems like this *could* be a problem. I am planning to call Britax next week. Any advice or BTDT experience? We bought it in late 2005. Thanks.

Hmmm...yeah, usually a problem on the Marathon...if it's what I'm imagining, it's only cosmetic, but I'd call to see if they have input, or will repair or replace the seat anyway. 3 isn't too young to start shopping for a taller/higher harness weight seat, though ;)

Thanks, I do need a new seat soon but I was going to loan the RA to my sister and hopefully use it one more time myself before it expires.
