In Baby Bargains 2000, the merger of Graco/Century was mentioned but the two lines separately reviewed because they still produces products under the individual name. When my husband and I went to register the other day, we noticed that now all products are toted as "Graco/Century". We were interested in a travel system stroller, for which Century got a good review and Graco did not. So I'm wondering, are the Graco/Century strollers Graco quality or Century quality?

Good question. You are right---the companies are merged, but they are still marketed as separate brands. I think you are referring to Babies R Us, which for some reason has decided to call them Graco/Century. I think that just adds to the confusion, but oh well!

In short, we think that the Century travel systems had better features than Graco's. Specifically, we liked the strollers better. That really hasn't changed much. For 2001, the products are becoming more similiar---and we would probably say they are a toss-up now!

Hope that helps,
