Looking for Baby Bjorn on Net

Anyone know of a site that has Baby Bjorn for less than $79.95? Wow-that's steep. And I can get it locally for that price. Thanks.

Found the Baby Bjorn Carrier on Right Start! It's the 2000 model-which I don't have a problem with. But I remember reading of a recall. So-I am waiting for a response on that question. Thanks for your help.

I am nearly positive that the recall applied to only '99 models and earlier. Also, I'm pretty sure that once a product has been recalled, stores are not allowed to sell it anyway. I have the 2000 model BabyBjorn and it has new special straps to make the leg openings smaller for newborns - the older models didn't have these straps which is why the recall happened to begin with. (By the way - I LOVE my BabyBjorn!)

I actually bought my baby bjorn carrier in June 99 from the Right Start and it was after the recall. I have the same version as the 2000 model and it is great. The only change to the newer model is instead of snaps for closing the carrier they now have quieter buttons. Big whoop. If your baby can actually sleep while you undo the carrier you are lucky to have a baby who will probably sleep through snap sounds just as well as buttons, in my opinion. For $49 its a great deal!
