I bought the Peg Perego Pliko Trek umbrella stroller on store4baby.com for $179.95 with free shipping. that's $60.00 cheaper than I have seen any where. Happy Shopping

How old is the Pliko Trek meant for. Which allows for more use- the Pliko trek or the Venecia? Does the Pliko trek also have a basket underneath? Any advice is appreciated.

That is an awesome deal! Thanks for the tip! However, I spoke to a rep at store4baby and the stroller is a 2000 model. Did you get your stroller? Are you happy with it? According to the rep, the difference between the 2000 and 2001 model is only that the 2001 model comes with the removable bar that allows you to put an infant car seat onto the stroller. This is not an issue for me since our son is 5 months old and able to sit up. Please let me know what you think.

Great deal! FYI: Another difference between the 2000 and 2001 models are the wheels. In 2001 all the wheels are "treaded". In 2000 only the Pliko Trek and Pliko Sherpa had treaded wheels. Also the 2001 Pliko Matic comes with the basket underneath.
