What is the main difference between the two. Can an infant use the Pliko trek just as easily or is the Venezia for comfortable?
Any advice as I am stuck choosing between the two.

The main difference: one is a 20 lbs carriage/stroller (Venezia) and the other is a lightweight stroller (Pliko). They both can be used for an infant. If you decide on the Pliko, just make sure the leg posts adjust so the baby can lay flat (some models do, some don't). You can get all the comparison information off their website (www.pegperego.com). It's a matter of preference which one you'd prefer. They are both excellent strollers. Some people start out with the Venezia then get the Pliko later (after 6 months) while others just use the Pliko from the start. It all depends on your lifestyle.

We have a Pliko, a Milano, and a Combi. We just sold the Milano (similar to a Venezia) because the other two do everything we need. Granted it was great as a carriage, but we really didn't use it after about six months.

My recommendation is the Pliko as long as it offers the 170 degree position.

Good Luck

We have a Pliko Trek which does recline to 170 degrees. However, we found that the straps were too big, even at the smallest setting, to hold our newborn in securely -- and she was 8 lbs. We got the car seat adaptor bar, and use that right now -- we'll try her again in a month or so (she's 3 week old right now)
