Hi All... I am a freelance writer working on a piece about "Stroller Envy" for the NYPost. I am seven months PG and already own three strollers... and that still doesn't keep me from wanting to run out and buy the latest and greatest model as soon as I see someone else with it!! The piece is basically about this need to keep buying strollers ( we can't have just one, now can we???), and about how strollers in NYC are also status symbols -- sort of lke the way cars are in LA -- with Peregos being the Mercedes, MaClarens being the SUV, etc. Anyone who lives in NY, owns more than one stroller and is obsessed with the latest models the way I am, and wants to chat about it -- on or off the record -- for inclusion in the Post, please email me directly at [email protected].
