Australian hood sunshield

The other day I saw a great stroller with a great sunshield. I asked the mom about the sunshield and she told me her mom bought of the internet. The hood cover or sunshield was made of a stretchy material and it fit over the existing hood but it added much more protection. I didn't have a pen with me at the time. But the name was something like penopy from Australia. I've been searching but haven't found the product. Has anyone else found it?

No, but I'm very interested to know what it is as well as I've been seaching for something for my Mac mistral which has VERY little sun protection-why they even bother making a hood if it's not serving any purpose has been bothering me for a long time!

Someone on the parents place stroller board linked this to a web site. I will try to find it in the recent archives & link here, but i don't have the time right now. Not sure what its called, but around $35, i think. It seemed great.

No, also there is a different one that does not cover entirely, just as wide as a mac hood but totally movable, forward or back, depending on where the sun is. It was discussed when pepenny shade was discussed about 2-3 weeks ago.

If any of you live in NYC then you can buy the pepeny shade cover, which is by the way amazing, at Albees on the upper west side (amsterdam and 95th i think). The cover is wonderful- i can pull it all the way down when my baby is asleep, and it really blocks the glare (much better than my Mac one!)

If you bought the hood for the Volo, then yes, it will...It only works on strollers that have hoods....

the one i have is navy with same color trim... the lettering in the front, however, is gold and is the company logo - it's nasty looking but no way to get around that, i guess -
