I know there are people who know the answer to this inquiry. I am seriously thinking about an Emmaljunga double when the time comes. Specifically the Cannon 2. Short of going to Sweden or another European country, or having one of my Swedish relatives get me one, how can I get this stroller to California? I appreciate any help or words of wisdom.

look on ebay. just go to the baby section, then strollers, then run a search on emmaljungas. there are new ones posted every day -- though more singles than doubles. i bought a single stroller there the other week, just waiting for it to be delivered.

Try these places http://www.babiesalley.com, http://www.heritagebaby.net; Boston Baby, but I don't think they have any doubles left and only selected stock left.

There is this new store (looks like a metamorphis of Babies Alley) http://www.kiddoonthego.com. The price on the double is outrageous, so if you can get it from Europe, it might be worth your while.

The Canonn is a amazing looking contraption, isn't it!!

I looked into getting one back when I bought my Teutonia. Ebay is the easiest bet, but you don't often see the current European models. There may be a few left scattered about in specialty stores, but since the Cannon 2 is new, you probably won't find it. On Emma's site, they don't show a Spanish flag, so I guess they aren't selling in South America, which might be a little cheaper.

For anyone unfamiliar with the Emma's we can no longer get, check this out--

British Ebay (www.ebay.co.uk) typically newer models, but not a lot of them. If you buy from a European dealer, make sure you don't get charged the Value Added Tax (VAT) which is about 17% and is usually INCLUDED in the listed price-- if you ship outside of the EU, it doesn't apply.

If you have relatives in Europe, that would be easiest. I have my German SIL's family get me stuff here-and-there.

I have an idea!! We should take up a collection and send someone to Europe to buy strollers for all of us!! Tix are only about $300 rt from NYC, so is isn't that far-fetched and I would be MORE THAN HAPPY to volunteer!!

Good luck. I would love to hear if you find a way!! Stephanie

I actually found a seller who has an Ebay store with new products on UK Ebay. Very very pricey and the shipping costs more than most strollers! So, even though it is an option, it is a very expensive option and I think that the send someone to Europe idea is a great one. I don't plan to need one until next year if all works out and when does that happen... I'm just shopping in advance.
