I am trying to negotiate a deal for my brother and SIL on a used stroller. I was wondering if you could give me your "blue book" opinion on this stroller.

Here is the description: You are bidding on a gorgeous Teutonia Delta Pram. This stroller is
in great used condition. There are hardly any signs of wear. This is
a very plush and comfortable stroller. It is very easy to steer and
pushes like a dream. The bouncy suspension on this stroller is
exceptional. It will lull your baby to sleep in no time. This
stroller has many features and accessories. Included are:

• Carry cot
• Mattress
• Parasol
• Foot muff
• Wool lined infant bunting
• Boot
• Foot enclosure
• Shopping bag
• Bug cover
• Rain/Wind Cover
• Reversible seat
• Multiple Recline positions including completely flat
• Multiple head rest positions
• Multiple foot rest positions
• Removable bumper bar
• Height Adjustable Handle
• Quick Release Wheels

and a picture can be found at: http://pages.ivillage.com/stcav/id3.html

She says it is mid to late 90s? I have no idea of worth or what to even offer her for a price. Any ideas?

I think the lady who is selling this stroller, also used the yahoo stroller swap board. You could probably get a lot of good advice over there too.

That is where it was listed -- but she wants me to make her an offer and I have no idea what it is worth. I've searched ebay for completed auctions and such and can't really find anything similar.

I just want to say I think it is lovely :)...
try the parents place stroller board also you are sure to find stroller queen and other stroller addicts over there too...:) It is so stroller specific that it is a great place to go with such questions. The pop up ads will drive you crazy, and i can't lurk over there without my computer acting up...But it must be me...

good luck...

I won't help with the value of the Delta, but I can perhaps help you with the research of the Delta and you might be able to make an offer...

Here are a few Teutonia Delta currently on ebay, http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?GetResult&query=teutonia+delta&from=R6&ebaytag1=ebayctry&ebaytag1code=0&siteid=0&ht=1&combine=y&st=2

Most, if not all, are on German ebay and the currency either Euros or German Deustche Marks, but you can convert the currency to USD by using the currency exchange site like this one http://www.xe.net/ucc/

Hope that helps.

Wow. That is one fully loaded pram! You won't find anything like that at BRU, that's for sure! I suggest you call Heritage Baby and ask what they sold them for. The number is on their website--www.heritagebaby.com. There are very few strollers in the class of Teutonias. They are superbly engineered, supreme quality. They are very hard to find in this country. They are common in Germany, and much, much cheaper. Keep in mind, though, that you would have to add on another $200 or so to ship something like this, if the seller would even be bothered to do so. By way of comparison, you could look at Silver Cross and Emmaljunga prams, they are of the same class. Make sure to add on some $ for all those accessories. I have purchased things like matching boots, parasols, and diaper bags in the past, and they really add up.

Not just you. I can barely go there either, any more. The pop ups keep freezing and/or crashing my computer; they are brutal! It's really too bad, because it used to be a lot of fun. Now it is mostly just too frustrating.
