the archive links to member photos don't work anymore! about the shopping wheel, this seems like a good accessory, i read about it here and that alan can get it, but has anyone actually used it? here's the link
http://www.onetreehilleurope.com/mountainterrain/accessories/shop.html

online the grape sometimes looks very dark eggplant, sometimes a bold vivid purple; the red sometimes looks orange... i know i'll get advice to get samples but i don't want to wait :) and anyway it's hard for me to project a tiny swatch into full size and how it will read at a distance (which is why i don't paint rooms fun colors).

i'm leaning to the terrain... i like the slightly smaller size and lower weight and i want it for rocky mountain trails and the beach.

I do a whole page LOL ;)

I have grape, spruce, ocean cloud shown although my terrain single which is the ocean cloud is a bit covered up by my cosie rozie...

My red terrain dble isn't up there but she is RED i'm talking fire engine! It's for the rual road i needed it to be a "see me " color.

Grape is an eggplant color....very rich dark purple..very attractive.
Spruce is a rich green but i think forest has now replaced it...
Ocean cloud is a grey/blue.....basically the color of clouds/sky...

Caster wheel, no i don't have a use for one...considered one but i have the single urban so a little pointless

i just found this -- the purple looks much more vibrant here -- is it just that the photo on your site is dark? or are the colors slightly different for terrain & urban? also, is that about right for the red color? good point on the 'see me' color for the woods...

did you ever take your urban(s) in the snow or beach? was it a significant contrast with how the terrain handled those (ahem) terrains?

I just got a grape MBUS from Baby Outfitters which I love! Pamela's pictures are what sold me on the grape (aren't they incredibly helpful).

I got the grape because it was different from the black I usually stick with. To me it is like an eggplant and not too vivid that it screams purple. I think Pamela's pictures are pretty accurate and that if you wanted something dark but different, it would be a great choice.

From a distance it could pass for a "dark" color that is not quite black. If you look at www.mountainbuggy.com and see a woman pushing an urban along the shore I believe that is a grape colored MBUS.

Eitherway both colors are great, but I am a more earth colors person which is why I chose the grape.

Good Luck,
Cheryl :)
