Macs: European Specs vs. American Specs

There are quite a few Macs on sale on Ebay from a seller named maxoty. All of the ads I've seen from this seller state that the stroller was originally aimed for European markets with European specs, resulting in a savings for the buyer. What's the difference between Macs with European specs and Macs aimed for the American market?

This was discussed on Stroller Swap a while back, and I remember someone talking about how these were grey market strollers. You might want to do a little research on Stroller Swap, or maybe the Parents Place moms can give you a little more info. One difference I do remember is that you do not get a warranty from Maclaren.
