2003 Pliko and Snug Ride

Can you tell me if an adapter bar is needed to use the Snug Ride in the Peg Perego Pliko? If yes, does the adapter bar which fits the 2001 Pliko fit the 2003?

Thanks for your help on this. I am using a 2001 Pliko with Snug Ride with an adapter bar however my friend is looking at the 2003 Pliko Metalica with using the Snug Ride.

I am pretty certain that the adapter bar works only with plikos from 2000-2002. However, many of us have used the snugride with the pliko without the adapter and have found that it fits quite securely. The only seat, unfortunately, that attaches securely to the stroller is the Peg Primo Viaggio, which is a small fortune and does not even have all of the features found on the snugride. Good luck!

I had a Snug Ride with my Pliko. I put the backrest in a partial recline and the car seat fitted in like it was made for the stroller.
The whole car seat was inside the stroller, not on the nap bar like it would be when you have an adaptor. I felt that it was really secure.
