Hello all,

DS is 4 months old and is quickly getting too big for our Graco Snugride car seat in his Kolcraft Universal Carrier.

We were given a wonderful gift of a Peg Perego P3 but I'm not sure how big DS needs to be to use the big stroller safetly.

The little guy has great head control but doesn't sit up on his own yet.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm certainly no expert, but I think 4 months is certainly old enough. The best way to tell is to put him in there and see what happens. Do the straps fit on him reasonably well? Does he topple over or fall to the side? Does he cry because it isn't comfortable for him? All these things will give you a better idea than going strictly by his age.

HTH.

The P3 is safe to use for newborn babies and up, so at 4 months old he should be just fine. The stroller has a full recline and is well padded and comfy. The straps can be adjusted to fit a tiny baby. Enjoy your P3 - we love ours!
