We just bought a new Chicco London stroller online for travel based on the BB book's comments and 2 parent comments at Baby Center - looked like a reasonably priced, decent, umbrella folding stroller.

Then, we find many comments about nuts and bolts falling off the stroller and it breaking... We assume that is the old London but are nervous about the new one now. We have a Peg Perego Aria that we use around town but feel it's too $$ to take traveling (by air).

Does anyone have hands-on experience with the new Chicco London? Anyone know if the parts-falling-off problems have been addressed?

Thanks for any input!

I had a Chicco London that had a nut fall off and I couldn't get it attached tight enough to be able to use the stroller. Chicco replaced the stroller for free. When the new one arrived I still had the old frame in the trash. I brought it in to see if I could see any differences. On the old one the bolts were short and when the nut was screwed on there wasn't much bolt sticking out (does that make sense?) And after further inspection, I discovered that a lot of the nuts were not as tight as they could/should be. I don't know if they became that way after use (I had only used it a few times) or if they left the factory that way. I checked all of the bolts on the new Chicco and they were all noticeably longer and the nuts were screwed on tightly. I have had no problems with the new one.
