howdy and Peg/Mac decision question

I've been lurking here for a while, trying to decide on what stroller to get. After reading and surfing and reading some more, I've decided to go with either a Peg or a Mac.

Now which one?

We're going to be adopting our first child from China in the spring (yay!) and she (or he) will be about a year old when finally home. I live in a sidewalk neighborhood, sorta suburbanish but older, and will be using the stroller primarily for mall walking, but also for some sidewalk and park usage.

I was looking at Marilyn's site, and saw that she had the Aria LB on sale. I've been looking at the P3 too. I also like the Mac Techno Classic. Problem is, there isnt a store in town that sells any of them. The closest is a two hour each way jaunt, so I'll likely be buying sight unseen.

Any recommendations/reservations about these with a one year old?

I'd suggest the P3. The Aria is okay for mall-crawling but not suited for outdoor use (small wheels = forget going over small bumps and small canopy). The seating position in the P3 - more upright with the napper bar - seems to be more universally appealing to young toddlers, whereas the Mac slope is more hit-or-miss at that age.

Of those stroller choices, I'd give my vote for the P3.
