Of course I have no solid details, but this site is very exciting! It looks like Bugaboo will start having some "designer" strollers next year, similar to the Kate Spade Maclarans, for example.

That is very cute though not my taste. ;-)

Now for a bit of a Bug vent- I am not sure what to think though about Bugaboo private labeling like that for artists. I mean Maclaren's Kate Spade Quest is nearly twice the price of the regular, but still way less than the the Bug to begin with. I wonder if these will be twice as much too (1500 instead of 750???).

I also wonder if these will be gifted to celebs the way Bugaboo gifts to the celebs now in order to get pics in the magazines. That bugs me to no end! I guess it is cost effective advertising for them, but makes me wonder why I should spend 700+ for them to give them to folks who can afford them easily. I guess it seems strange to me, and I think they have set a negative precident in the stroller market by setting the cost so high. Now you are seeing lots of makers introduce around that price or raise up to that. Overall I think it is also going to cause a boom with the higher end travel systems by brands by Graco, Evenflo, etc even more than there is now as people grasp at the "deals". Vent over!

Those alien things are very weird looking and I would not want a stroller with those things all over!

You know, I love the Dutch as much as anybody - heck, my parents live in the Netherlands! - but there is no way in hell I would let that creepy Bas Koster anywhere near my child! Those photos of him and the models creep me out.

I totally agree! I think the Fab 5 should give him a softer image makeover. :)
