View Full Version : Using E3 in double mode with a newborn and toddler?

I just went to a local Right Start and saw several double strollers IRL. We're shopping for a double right now, since we're expecting #2 sometime this Dec and DD will be 2 then.

The E3 was quite interesting and just wanted to get a feel from other moms how they liked using the E3 in double mode. Here are some questions off the top of my head.

- When #2 is still a newborn/infant and cannot sit up yet, how easy is it to access baby in the newborn mode (laying down), with toddler #1 sitting above? Also, it seems that it would be easy to kick baby's head while walking, is this an issue? And where do you put the diaper bag in this position?

- When #2 can sit up, how do you configure the 2 kids? Does the big kid go in front and the smaller kid go in back? Is there an issue with the kid in back not being able to see that well? How do you attach a diaper bag in this configuration? How do you go shopping in this configuration since there is no cargo space?

- How easy is it to maneuver the E3 indoors, like the mall?

Thanks!
Liza
