UPDATE! When will this end?

UPDATE: Got my new basket from Maclaren AND a check from the airline for ALL of my expenses to fix teh P3! I am one happy woman in strollerland!

First the airline breaks my P3, causing $125 worth of damage. I had to ship it to PP and it should be back in a day or two. Thank goodness.

I bought a Mac Volo to use in the meantime (plus I thought I could use a lightweight errands stroller) and just discovered today that one of the grommets holding the basket on has broken! The back left side of the basket is now hanging down and the basket is virtually useless. I am calling the store where I bought it tomorrow to see what they suggest I do.

Do I have bad stroller karma or what?!?

Yippee! I called Mac CS today and they're sending me a new basket! The rep said it could take up to two weeks since they're on the other coast. At least my P3 should be coming home by the end of the week.

finally some good news for you. Too bad they couldn't get it to you sooner. Would the store you bought it from give you a loaner?

Nope, the store I bought it from gave me Maclaren's 800# and that's it. :P

I just won't do much shopping the next few days. DH will like that!
