2002 Pliko/infant seat question

We recently recieved a new 2002 model Pliko. Does anyone know if there is a way to use it with a non-peg perego infant seat? Supposedly there was a seperate attachment bar that made it adaptable to other brand seats, but I don't know how to get hold of one. If anyone has ideas I'd love to hear them.

I saw that the 2005 model has some sort of attachment that makes it accept other brand seats. Does anyone know if that strap would work on an older model?

We are just trying to get the most bang for our buck. PP stuff is really nice, I'm just not sure if I want to shell out the cash for the infant seat that might not be usable for very long.

You can try to find an adaptor kit, but they are quite scarce and go for $40-50 and up on eBay. For that price, you can save yourself the headache and just buy a Snap n Go or a UCSC. Or you can just buy a luggage strap to hold the infant seat in the Pliko.
