I know I asked this question before when I was selling my Combi Savvy DX and Peg Roma, but I've now decided to sell my Emma Jupiter and Peg Pliko so I'll ask it again :). I'll be going the Craigslist route again since I don't want to deal with shipping. So here's what I have:

My fixer-upper Emma Jupiter that I worked so hard on. I was able to get off about 90% of the rust, which just leaves some rust on the very bottom of the chassis near the wheels. The wheels are in excellent condition with no pitting. They all have their white caps. I re-dyed the seat fabric and canopy to minimize any fading and therefore the inside of the canopy is now navy blue instead of the original white. I only have the seat not the bassinet. I also have the matching boot, but the stroller is missing the napper bar. It didn't come with a harness, but I made my own 5-pt harness from that of some portable car seat. The foam on the handle is in excellent condition. And oh yeah, I added extra padding (quilt batting) to the seat to make it more plush.

Then, I have a 2001 Peg Pliko in black sable. It's in excellent condition and I have both the napper bar and child's tray for it.

Thanks in advance.

I got $50+ shipping for a 2001 Pliko in nearly new condition. It was chesapeake navy plaid, and did not have the snack tray.

Latia, why are you selling your strollers? I ask because so many of your stroller purchases are what I would like to do, both in terms of strollers chosen and price paid, and your reasons for selling might prevent me from making a purchase that I would later regret. I've admired your shopping savvy, and I am SO impressed with the fixer upper on the Emma. Just wondering why you are selling after assembling such a nice collection at a nice price.

I have sold this Peg Pliko before, in exactly the same condition, red metallica kind for 147.50 plus 30 for shipping. But this was on ebay, and considering the fact that I have no idea what craigslist is, this may or may not help you. I have sold P3s though as well, they brought in a bit more. I would say about 160 including shipping. That is a steal of a deal on that. hope this helps.

Karen--

I've decided to sell these two strollers because after I got my Peg Atlantico I realized I didn't need them any more. I had never wanted to get a Pliko/P3, but after I saw it on my local Craigslist at such a good deal I decided I'd try it out while I waited for my Atlantico. My original plan had been to sell my Peg Roma (my all day outing stroller) and Combi Savvy DX (quick errand stroller) and replace the Roma with the Atlantico and the Combi with a lightweight umbrella with an adjustable footrest (only thing my Combi was lacking).

These were the features I was looking for in my all day outing (zoo, etc.) stroller:
* full recline
* adjustable footrest
* parent cupholder
* child's tray
* peek-a-boo window
* big basket
* easy steering
* good canopy

And these were the features I wanted in my quick errand stroller:
* lightweight
* peek-a-boo window
* partial recline
* adjustable footrest

The Pliko, because of it's size and weight was a little too big to use as my quick errand stroller and I really didn't like the way the footrest sagged. And then it lacked the child's tray, parent cupholder, and good steering so it didn't fit into my all day outing stroller group. But over the course of the month that it took me to decide whether or not to buy the Atlantico, I realized I was trying to make my Pliko into an Atlantico (I ordered a child's tray for it, was looking into getting a parent cupholder for it, etc.), but that still wouldn't fix the steering or sagging footrest on it so I decided I might as well buy the Atlantico that had EVERYTHING I was looking for. So I got my Atlantico finally and now the Pliko has to go. I had never planned on getting rid of my Emma, but after seeing how well the Atlantico handled my beaten up neighboorhood sidewalks I was very impressed and decided I can just use it for my neighborhood walks. I love the steering on the Atlantico and never really got used to the fixed wheel steering of the Emma. So the Atlantico has become my all day outing stroller AND my neighborhood walking stroller. And my Atlantico is so much more plush than my Emma (even with the extra padding I added).

So what did I do about my quick errand stroller? Well, I wanted an umbrella stroller with all the features of the Mac Quest PLUS a peek-a-boo window so that narrowed my choices down quite a bit. And there's no way I was going to wait and pay a huge amount for the new 2005 quests that supposedly have a peek-a-boo window. Someone mentioned getting an older Mac Vogue which has all the features I was looking for but I still didn't want to spend over $100 for another stroller. So I went to BRU the other day and picked up a Chicco Tuscany for $65 (after $15 off in coupons :)) which had all of the features I was looking for. I also looked at the new Eurotrend Sport which was around the same price, but I didn't like the feel of the fabric on it, the peek-a-boo window was super tiny, and it didn't have an adjustable footrest. I also looked again at the Mac Quest but the seat on the Tuscany was higher off the ground than the Quest, the fabric was softer and more padded, and it's not tippy like the Quest. Even though the weight limit on the Chicco is only 37lbs, it doesn't bother me since my son is only 20lbs at 14 months old. Someone said the seat back on the Chicco was lower than the Quest, but they looked exactly the same to me. So I'm quite happy with my two most recent stroller purchases and will probably done for a while (unless I decide to get a new double :)).

Latia:

I posted a huge long message, but apparently it didn't show up. The gist was that I like the Atlantico too, except for what I remember being long length diagonally from front wheel to handlebar and the fact that I want a footboard. I am considering the Peg Perego Pramette, which I just saw this weekend in Paris, but I bounce back and forth because of the cost (I'm a looker, not a buyer) and the fact that #2 is due in three weeks and I wonder if I am crazy to get a brand new single right now. But doubles are so boring... and so limited in number... and I just can't psyche myself up for them until the baby is actually here and I'm back in the US in December, where doubles are more plentiful in stores and in actual use.

Anyway, I appreciate hearing your thoughts. I should be like you and find a great P3/Pliko deal to try it out, since the Pramette is the same except the seat and canopy have a few added features to make it a pram. (See photos and demo at http://www.schmid-baby.at/pegperego.htm).
