Anyone really need a motorized stroller?? I mean, I am sure someone with limited use of their arms or limited arm strength might, but really? For the everyday person???

mmm. sometimes i wish i had one of those with a seat for myself on the back! mmm. There's an idea -- a sit-and-stand from mamas -- you stand, I'll sit!

I've heard they're marketed for grannies, but I certainly wouldn't be embarassed to push it. Wonder if they'd make it up the hills here in SF!

It's actually pretty cool, and has come down substantially in price. (Last year it was going to be marketed at a much higher price. And it has been more refined since then, with better safety features.) I did feel a little guilty pushing it, though. Like cheating on a work-out or something. But the hills in SF are certainly a valid excuse for one, lol!

I saw it earlier this week IRL. I don't think anyone who saw you pushing it would even know it was motorized -- looks just like an Atlantico. I think if you lived in a hilly place or had a disability it would be useful.

There's also a motorized stroller by i'Coo/Traxx.

What I wonder is how heavy it is, how often it needs to be charged and how it all breaks down so you can get it into your car.

I guess hills would be a problem! Well, it has its uses then!

Not sure of any of that, but those would be legit concerns! I saw one at a local baby store last week and it seemed a bit heavy, but I didn't ask any questions about it as far as charging and all. The fabric was really nice though. Why they don't come out with a Venezia in that suede I don't know!!

It weighs a little over 30 pounds; slightly less than a Zooper Boogie, and a little less than most prams.

It folds the same as an Atlantico.

They told me you charge it the same as you do their motorized toy cars, if anyone is familiar with them. How often you charge it depending on how much you use it.

I agree. The fabric is lovely. I bet they'll put it on the Venezia next year.
