MBUS help

I ordered an 04 MBUS. I was told that it would not ship in the original box, but of course when it arrived the box was not in very good condition. There are a few white marks on the foot plate and the metal bar for the canopy is popped out on one side and I can't seem to get it back in. Is there a trick to this? TIA

we just put our canopy back on and it was difficult. my husband had to first get angry at it and then manhandle it. i know this isn't a lot of help, but it just took some force for us. maybe someone else knows a better trick!

Yes, there is a trick. You don't have to force it at all. I tried to force it and finally read the manual and they tell you exactly what to do to get it back in. It's kind of push and pull at the same time. It's clearly explained in the manual.
