I thought I'd decided on the Maclaren Quest for my lightweight reclining stroller and now I've found these other choices in the same price range.

Which is better for quick errands with a 5 month old?

Maclaren Quest?
Inglesina Swift?
Silver Cross Mini?
Zooper Rhumba?

I'd prefer a window on the canopy and something that's good for tall parents.

Thank you.

If you want something really durable, I'd go for the Silver Cross Mini. I have one & love it! I'm 5'11" tall & it is plenty tall enough for me. it doesn't have the window on the canopy tho.

I used to have the Swift and it was so cheap I bought the Mini instead. I hope this helps you. I'm new to the board! :D

Welcome Jesse! We're glad you have you on board!

Mom of Gia -- I *just* got a 2005 Quest. It's the first year Mac has included a peek-a-boo window. I am planning to love this stroller and picked it for all the reasons you mentioned you needed a stroller.

As with anything, I'd advise you put DC into the strollers you are considering. My DD was happy as a clam when I tested her in the Quest, but I hear that some babes are more comfy in other strollers.

ETA: Maclarens are popular among tall parents.

I just test drove a Mini in the store - drives JUST like the Mac. The seat is more shallow than the Quest. The self-locking clip looks the same as the Mac too.

I LOVE my Quest - my baby loves the deep seat and leg supports (he's a smaller baby). I've had it since he was 6 months old and it's been the best stroller purchase. The 2005's have a window and my 6' husband is very comfortable with it too. The recline is also major for me because DS naps in the stroller.

I think the Zooper does not steer as well as the Quest. It folds larger also.

I did not like the Swifts on test drives but that's my opinion.

Once you pick a stroller, online prices are better than brick and mortar stores.

Happy shopping!

I'm pretty happy with my Swift for an errand stroller. I really like the true one-hand fold (can be done with baby in the other arm). I'm tall and so is DH & the Swift is plenty tall for both of us. It also has a window on the canopy. And you can't beat the price.

I got mine from Marilyn at arunningstroller.com -- ask for the StrollerQueen discount.

Happy shopping!

Not on the list but I have been very happy with my Chicco Tuscany as my errand stroller. It has a decent recline, window in the canopy, and the extendable footrest. The extendable foot rest is the main reason I bought the stroller because my DS does not like his legs dangling. The Quest has an extendable legrest too but the stroller was out of my budget. FWIW, the Tuscany pushes very well with my 25# toddler and I am very pleased with my choice.

What's the handle height on the Tuscany?
