Mountain Buggy tires

Thanks in large part to these boards we LOVE our new (orange!) '04 MBUS --too bad it took so long trying others before we finally found The (Nearly) Perfect Stroller.

After less than a month of use, though, we got our first flat tire; DH repaired it easily with a tire patch kit. However, I was wondering if others have had flats with their Mountain Buggy? If so, how frequently? How soon after purchase?

Hopefully we were just unfortunate to hit a thorn in the road so soon, it's not a chronic problem or anything...

I have an MBUD and too adore it! Your are right, it is the (nearly) perfect stroller!
I have gotten a couple of flats (2 I think) but we live in NYC where we are rolling over all sorts of stuff- one time was definitely a tack.
Havent noticed it any more than my jogger which got tons of use before I got my MBUD.
Our local bike store changed the tube each time for about $7.
Haven't heard of any others reporting regular flats so prob just something you ran over. (hope so!)
