MBUS Wheel Help - Huge Favor to Ask

I cannot get the back wheels attached to the MBUS. I think the axle with the knobs is too short. Can someone please measure theirs. I wan't to know for sure if it is broken or the wrong one, or if I'm an idiot that can't follow directions before I call Baby Outfitters.

I responded to you on StrollerSWAP, but I'll post here too.

I got confused by this too... The wheels LOOK symmetric, but they are not. If what I think is happening, is happening, you are trying to place the axel (rod) through the wrong side of the wheel. Put the rod through the other side and it should work.

Let me know if I'm right or wrong!

I tried switching the wheels, putting the axle through both sides. Nothing. When I have the wheels on and lay the axle across them, ti seems like the axle is about 2 inches less than the wheel span.

Any ideas????

Feel weird double posting, but I don't know where you'll check first.

Ok, my MBUS (it's a 2004 btw) is sitting in the living room all set
up, so I just went down to check it out. I took the wheels off and
took out the axel. The axel measure 25.5 inches from the END of the
attached knob/screw and the TOTAL length, TOP of knob to end of axel
is: 26.5 (or a smidgeon under that).
