I'm new here. I just ordered the frog on Sunday (having a little bit of stress of the price as first baby is already 7 months old). Anyway, it sounds like the Skip Duo Diaper Bag fits over the handle bars on the bug, right? Can you also wear the Skip Duo as a backpack (over both shoulders?)

Thanks!

LOL. I ordered the Bugaboo when DD was 4 1/2 months so I know what you mean. If it helps, a few weeks ago I was thinking "why did I buy this expensive stroller when the Silver Cross Camden I had was fine." The next day I had the Camden (a perfectly nice stroller) out on our bumpy sidewalks and knew the frog was the right choice!!! You will love it.

With that said, yes the Skip Hop will fit over the handles (I have them). They slip and slide a little, but I've noticed that with strollers and the Skip Hop in general (except my Kolcraft UCSC).

HTH

Thanks for the response. I don't know why I agonized so much over this decision! I think a lot of it is that I have no idea what life will be like with 2 babies. So will I really get much use out of the bug?

Anyway, given the slip and sliding, do you think it's worth an extra $50 for the Bugaboo bag? Or will the Skip Duo suffice. Does it also work as a backpack?

I think the Skip Hop works really well on the Bugaboo. It does not convert to a backpack though.

Actually, most messenger style diaper bags with an adjustable strap work well on the Bug. My favorites to use with the Bug are the LOOM Marsupial and LOOM Bandicoot. The Bandicoot will convert to a backpack.

Have fun with your new Bugaboo!

I've never tried the Bugaboo diaper bag, but I've heard it's really not worth it. There are some older posts about it.

Some bags that work on the Bug and can convert to a backpack are: Bumble Bags Jessica (www.bumblebags.com), Fleurville Alpha 7 (www.fleurville.com), Loom Bandicoot (www.loomlife.com), Petunia Picklebottom (www.petuniapicklebottom.com), Kecci Shanghai Mommy Bag (www.kecci.com), and some more that I can't think of right now. :)

Have fun shopping!

oops! Forgot about the backpack part of the question. No, Skip Hop does not work as a backpack. And it's true that pretty much no one likes the Bugaboo bag. I've had success with my Skip Hop on the Bugaboo, as well as my Kecci (which I either hang over the handle or attach to the Bugaboo bag clips (separate purchase) via the Kecci d-rings). The Kecci does convert to a backpack, albeit a bulky one.

Oh, and depending on the spacing of your children, a 2nd child can ride on a Bugaboo-style buggy board while the baby rides. :-)
