I'm a new mom of a 3 1/2 month old and never knew there could be so many stroller choices! Currently I am using the Bugaboo for our neighborhood/city walks and keep the snap & go in the car for errands/mall trips etc. My son is not a big fan of his car seat and I'd like to get another stroller for use in the car - but I'm a pretty small person, so I'm looking for something that's lightweight, good quality and ideally could be used with or without the infant carrier. Was all set to get the Peg Aria (we have a Peg car seat) but was talked out of it due to quality issues and the fact that my son may not need to be in the car seat in the stroller much longer.

Any thoughts?? Help!

How about the Mac Quest or Silver Cross Mini/Micro?

Just a note - when I went to BuyBuy Baby last week to check out umbrella strollers, I asked about the Silver Cross Micro and the salesperson said "We've had problems with those so we're not carrying a lot of those any more." (It was on sale, too.)

I have heard the Inglesina Swift is worth comparing with the Quest - half the price with many of the same features. That said, I just ordered the '05 Quest since it has the attached raincover.

(ETA: I am small too (5')! We have had the Zippy since DD was born and I love it as an all-around stroller - mall, neighborhood, travel. Main reason we bought a 2nd was to fit in the small trunk of DH's car.)

For a baby that small I wouldn't go any less than a Quest, and preferably a Techno, Zippy or P3 for the cushiness and full recline.

Good luck!

I just shopped for a second stroller for my baby when she was 3.5 months and bought a P3. I highly recc. that you look at the true lightweights including the Quest with your baby before you buy. I found that my baby wasn't ready yet for such a stripped down stroller--not that the lightweights were bad, they just seemed to be designed for babies of at least six months and really were geared to toddlers. Others I considered once I realized I need something cushier were the SC Camden, and Zooper Waltz (I didn't look at the Zippy given the quality complaints posted last fall). My baby is another month older now, but I have no regrets with my purchase. Good luck.

Since you have a Bugaboo I would go with the quest. If the baby is asleep in the carseat then you can use the snap-n-go, but otherwise just take him out and put him in the quest or Bugaboo - he will be much happier!
