We have this stroller, I had tried out a 2003 model a friend had, and didn't like it.. but kept hearing such good reviews, I thought I would get a 2005 model and try it out.

While I LOVE the fold, unfold- I'm not that impressed with anything else (OK, maybe the cupholders, and the decent basket size) but that's it.

I heard that it was supposed to be good for children of different ages, but my 31lbs 2.5yo & 23lb 9mo were in it today, and it was definitely 'off' although, not pulling to the side (make sense?)

I really want to like this stroller, but I'm just not feeling it... is there something I am missing ???

I love my Twin Savvy. Mine is a few years old, the year after they fixed the handle. Before I had it, I had a Kidco double, which was very pretty, but a pain to fold and move.

Anyhow, I use my TS outdoors all the time. I loved the flap that folds up under the bumber bar for babies before they can sit up. I used that all winter with my baby. I found the TS to be easier to push around my neighborhood than my mountain buggy terrain. I took my TS to Disney with my boys when they were 5, 3 and 4 months, and it was perfect for us. I don't much like pushing it when the 5yo is in it with the 3yo, just because they are so heavy, but the stroller does fine (I don't like pushing the P3 with the 5yo on the back either). I went to Disney with a relative who had her kids in a Mac double, and my kids looked more comfy. My 5yo, BTW is somewhere between 40 and 45 lbs.

For me, it helped out a lot when I learned years ago that Combis are supposed to feel rickety, because the frame is taking the bumps and whatnot from the ride. My older kids LOVED when a relative would shake it from side to side as they pushed it in Disney. Drove me crazy, but the Combi is in as good shape now as when I bought it years ago, so it is (IMO) made well, it just feels like it is going to fall apart. I know people complain about kids fitting into the stroller, but my kids are pretty small, so I've never had that issue. Even the 5yo fits no problem. I'm pretty sure he even napped in it once or twice in Disney.

Well, I can't convince you to like a stroller you don't. I personally don't much like Emmas (and I've owned 2 of them). But I'd rather have my Combi than any other double I've seen yet. In fact, I'm lending my MBTD out to a friend, but I would not give up the combi. Now if I had a MBUD, I might have thought differently ;) I'm just a swivel wheel gal.

Actually, it helps alot knowing it is supposed to move... that was another thing that 'worried' me.
I LOVE the easy fold, and really want to like it. I guess I'm going to have to try it out a few more times.

Jodi, what color did you get? I've had my eye on this as my lightweight double. I tested it out and wasn't thrilled about it (except for the awesome fold), but my toddler LOVED it. He kept trying to climb back in!

BTW- I vote that you get the orange MBUD. That way when you decide to sell it, I can buy it from you. :)

Funny, but I just tried this stroller today at Magic Beans. I was really surprised by how much I liked it. I put my 7yo, ~55# DD in it by herself and it steered pretty well! It obviously "lagged" on one side, but not as bad as I would have thought. I'm generally not a big fan of Combis, but I was impressed with this one.

Mariana, LOL~ you crack me up.

I got the blue, it was by far the prettiest IMO- it looks really good in person too, MUCH better than in the pictures.

I like the fold, super easy, especially if you just fold it over in half (which is what I do, then heft it into my van)
I am just soo used to my valco/bug that it's hard to get used to something that doesn't push like air, kwim?

I would love to hear your thoughts (a verified Valco lover) on the MBUD. I'm between the two myself. The Valco makes more sense, but I'm drawn in by the MBUD's colors. It looks like the MB's have more of a reclined seat than the Valcos though, which may be a deal breaker for me.

I hear ya on the Combi's push. It's hard to push anything else after pushing a Bug or Valco! They just "glide" everywhere, and you actually have to steer the Combi. I'm holding out on purchasing the Combi until I can check out the MicroTwin IRL. But so far, the Combi is in the #1 spot for my lightweight double!

I actually had a MBUD once before (about 6mo ago) and dd wouldn't sit in for more than a couple minutes (only long enough for me to get far enough from the house, for it to be a problem when she wanted out, kwim?)

Both are actually about the same 'laid back' wise, the only real difference on that is the Valco has a clip that you can hook to sit it bolt upright- which is what DD had to have.
We love our Valco, but I want to try the MBUD again and hopefully give it a fair try this time.

The both push soooooo nice though.

Anyhow, I'm babbling, I'll lyk when I get it and have had a chance to really use it.
