putting quest seat on techno frame

Hi I hope someone can help, I saw pictures on here of an old vogue frame with new quest seat and canopy, I want to do something similar with my 2001 model techno. Im in the process of finding out if seat will fit (measurements) but (if it fits in size) my main concern is whether or not I will be able to fit the seat to the frame, my techno doesnt have a removable seat but the new quests do (I think) so will they fit on the same way, does anyone know? If the person with vogue/quest mix is reading, how did you get the seat onto your vougue frame? did you do it yourself? was it easy?
