There is someone selling a 2001 Zooper Walk on Craigslist. I wonder if they mean Waltz. Anyway, it has 12 air tires (4 tires, not 3). Does anyone know about this stroller--steering, weight, durability etc...?

Thanks,

I think the seller means Zooper Walk Air. It's a 4 wheeler that was discontinued sometime ago. I believe the front wheels swivel, and it's very cushy, very heavy stroller. I never had one, so hopefully someone else can help you more!

The front wheels don't swivel (I was considering it when I was preg with my daughter)

Most likely it's what Sara said - they probably mean the Walk Air. We have one, though it was made in 2002 according to the date on it. It's definitely not a lightweight stroller, but I wouldn't classify it as very heavy either. I'm not sure of the exact weight (we don't have the box anymore, and I don't remember the manual giving the weight - I can dig it out to double check, but that could take me a bit...). I want to say I remember it weighing about 25 pounds, but that's just a guess. I do know that I didn't have problems getting it in and out of a trunk the few times we did so with it. For constant in and out use, something lighter would be easier though. (We have a zStreet for that.)

The front wheels don't swivel - it's a fixed wheel stroller. So you do have to learn how to steer a fixed wheel stroller when using it, but if you can do that, it's pretty easy to steer in my opinion. It's extremely durable, and I think it's very well made. Ours came with a ton of accessories (if you decide to ask about it, you might want to make sure they're including those - I have no idea what the differences between the 2001 and the 2002 ones would be though). And the seat on it is reversible - you can have the baby face you, or face out. Honestly, we've really liked this stroller as our all-terrain stroller.

Anyway, if you have any other questions on it, feel free to pester me, since I can just go look at ours and see. ::grin:: (Or I can dig out the manual if you really, really want too.)
