Hi all. Does any one have and use the parasol for the Bugaboo? The damn sun in Colorado is so bright and my son's legs are getting so brown. I was just wondering is a parasol would help us out with sun protection.

I have the Parasol on our Bug and find it handy for extended outdoor use. The only annoying part is that you have to reposition it when you change directions, so it's blocking the sun after you turn.

Honestly though, I bought it for the cuteness factor more than the sun protection. :)

i've never been able to get the darn thing to work very well - it's a pain to attach and to position. i don't know if any of the add on sun shades (protect a bub or pepany) will fit on the bugabbbo, but that might be a better bet.

A friend of mine uses her parasol all the time on her Bugaboo. She thinks it is great for sun protection and not that hard to move around.

We do use it but not so often. I usually try to walk so the sun will not be shining directly on DS. But when we went to Florida (twice already) we did use it a lot. Well, I guess that's the difference between Wisconsin and Florida :)

Sorry to keep bugging you, but is the parasol adjustable. I realize that you have to take it off the handle but when it's attached, can it move (like swivel around)?

Yes, the parasol in adjustable. You can move it forwards and backwards, and the top half is flexible as well, so it's very easy to position where you need it. Once I have it on, I don't have to take it off and move it unless we're putting the stroller in the car.
